FAQ
- How do overseas clients make inquiries and reservations for weddings?
- We have offices in Shanghai. Customers who live in these areas please feel free to contact our local office directly. Clients from other cities or countries can contact us through the contact form on our official website, and we will reply by e-mail within three working days.
- How early do overseas clients need to consult and book a wedding service?
- It is recommended to start preparations 3 to 6 months beforehand. In addition to overseas clients, local Japanese clients are our main customer group. The newlyweds in Japan book wedding services at least six months in advance, so the availability may become relatively tight. For those who concerns very much about the wedding date, please contact us in advance. Wedding appointments are subject to confirmation after receiving the wedding deposit.
- Is there anything that needs to pay special attention to a Japanese wedding?
- Japanese wedding ceremony and reception are normally held at different venues. The wedding ceremony is a symbolic wedding without any religion and takes about 30 minutes. The wedding reception begins after the wedding ceremony, held at a banquet room for dining, and there is no stage for the wedding.
- I want to have a themed wedding, and I want to decorate the chapel and the banquet hall. Is that possible?
- Japanese wedding chapels and wedding banquet halls can be decorated to a limited extent. The general principle is not to destroy the original interior and layout, and the decoration and clean-up should be completed within 30 minutes to 1 hour. Our wedding venue operates up to 4 or 5 separate wedding services in a day. It must not affect the use of clients before and after. In addition, it is not possible to carry out construction, transformation, and/or manufacturing of large garbage. Japanese buildings need to be applied for and approved in advance for construction and/or large garbage disposal, and the budget is very expensive.
- What do I need to prepare for an overseas wedding? Can I bring my own dress?
- We will prepare wedding dresses and accessories, so you will only need to bring underwear, socks, shoes and other personal items. You can bring your own dress, accessories, or any other items if you have your favorite ones. Before departure, you will be asked for your size in order to reserve the dress and tuxedo through our online catalog. You will have the chance to try your wedding dress the day before the wedding, so very liitle work will be needed.
- Is there anything that we need to pay extra attention regarding friends and families attending the wedding?
- Japanese ceremonies and banquet halls have restrictions on the number of people that can be accommodated. Please plan ahead for relatives and friends who will be attending to be within that number. Usually, the waiting area set up for guests is relatively limited, and only provides about 30 minutes of use time prior to the ceremony. Please make sure your family and friends come on time. Our wedding services are mainly for the bride and the groom. For friends and relatives who need makeup, styling, and rental services, please inform and confirm the additional cost in advance.
- Do you host LGBT weddings? or a wedding with religious beliefs?
- Yes of course! We respect the freedom of personal beliefs, and all couples are welcome to our chapel for a wedding. We may not be able to provide ceremonies for special religions, but some venues may provide Christian ceremony (need additional fee).
- We want to use your chapel to take photos only, but not weddings, is it possible?
- Sorry, we do not provide chapel rental service for photo shooting. Please order our wedding plan, and then you can use our chapel to take photos during the wedding time.
- We just want to rent the chapel and bring our own makeup artist, photographer, videographer etc. Is that possible?
- We are sorry, our wedding venue and wedding service are in bundle. We need professionals who are familiar with the venue and wedding flow to serve the entire wedding to ensure that the wedding process runs smoothly.
- Can family and friends attending the wedding take photos?
- Yes, guests can use their mobile phones to take photo during the wedding. To avoid interference with the wedding, please be sure to sit in their own the seat, and please do not stand or walk around. In fact, the wedding package already contains a professional photographer, so we recommend that guests concentrate on the wedding, and leave the photographs to the pros. After the wedding, there will be a group photo time. Please note that some shrines may prohibit taking photos during the ceremony.
- Can we change the wedding date after confirmation?
- The date can be changed once if it is 60 days prior to the scheduled wedding date. A certain administration fee will be charged for rescheduling after the 60-day limit. Other than the case of the airplane being delayed, or unable to arrive in Japan due to a major weather disaster, we will hold the wedding as scheduled.
- Can I arrange a reception table and distribute small gifts to our guests?
- Of course, please let us know the details when communicating with our staff. The arrangement of a reception table is different depending on the size of the wedding venue.
- Can you help us book air tickets hotels, and other travel arrangements?
- Sorry, our company is not a travel agency and is not qualified to book airline tickets and other travel services. However, we can provide information on nearby hotels and simple travel tips.
