Colourful flowers bloom continuously during different seasons: cherry blossoms in Spring, Azaleas in Summer, red leaves in Autumn, and plum blossoms in Winter. Combined with the historical sites and the beauty of nature, no wonder is Sankeien Garden listed as the most popular tourist site.
Cherry blossoms bloom within and outside of the pond during Spring
Apart from the exquisite sights of Spring in the Japanese garden, Sankeien Garden is also a popular location for enjoying cherry blossoms. Cherry trees are panted along the side of the central pond, with their pink reflections in the pond water adding to the colourful scenery.
